My WorkFlow are yoga sequences tailor made to serve office workers and their typical nags: you will release stress through breathing exercises and work on opening your chest and hips as well as stretching your entire back. It is a great way to prevent and alleviate back pain and stress induced anxiety and tension headaches. The sequence is designed so that you will not get sweaty, so no shower necessary afterwards!
Before starting up my own business in wellness, I spent the best part of 15 years in a corporate job, half of it whilst also juggling two small children.
My body hated to be forced to sit down for so many hours. My hips were tight, my back was aching and I was developing a typical “office slouch” . I wanted better posture and needed to lengthen and strengthen my muscles so badly, yet between kids drop offs, working over time and commuting I was struggling to find time to get to a yoga studio. “Why don’t we get a yoga teacher to come in once a week?”- I suggested, but time wasn’t ripe with our HR.
The dream for yoga classes in my previous job never came true, but right there and then I decided I would make that happen for others. And so Stefania Yoga & Wellness was born.
